Medellín, also known as the "city of eternal spring" for its pleasant climate that oscillates between 22 and 28 ° C throughout the year, is the second most important and most populated city in Colombia after Bogotá. It is located in the northwest of the country at 1,540 meters above sea level in the Aburra Valley, a former territory of indigenous settlements.
In 2024, Marathon Medellín celebrated three decades full of passion, effort and community. More than 25 thousand runners joined this emblematic race, which has become a true festival of colors, emotions and sports spirit.
The streets of Medellín vibrated with the energy of a happy and enthusiastic crowd, who not only ran for miles, but also for the joy of being part of such a significant event.
This 30th anniversary marked a milestone in the history of sports in the city, reaffirming the unity and pride of all those who made this unforgettable celebration possible.

Day 1 / Medellin - Transfer Airport - Hotel |
Upon arrival at the José María Córdoba International Airport, you will be received by our guide and transferred to the hotel. The transfer will take approximately 45 minutes in normal traffic. Our representative will assist you at the airport. Along the way, he will provide useful information for your stay in Medellín. |
