Day 1 / Medellin - Transfer Airport - Hotel August 5 |
Upon arrival at the José María Córdoba International Airport, you will be received by our guide and transferred to the hotel. The transfer will take approximately 45 minutes in normal traffic. Our representative will assist you at the airport. Along the way, he will provide useful information for your stay in Medellín. |
| Day 2 / City Tour August 6 | Panoramic visit to the most representative places of the city including El Pueblito Paisa, the Botanical Garden, Plaza de Botero, Parque de los Deseos metro cable. | Day 3 / Taller Silletero August 7 | Breakfast at hotel. Visit the municipality of Santa Helena, land where the flowers of Medellín are born and bloom. Learn everything about the "Silletera" culture, its history and traditions. During the visit we will visit a traditional "Silletera" farm and we will be able to see the artisanal production of a "silleta", a UNESCO intangible heritage that has been passed from generation to generation. | Day 5 / Desfile Feria de Flores August 9 | Breakfast at your hotel and transfer to live the experience of the Silleteros Parade, get ready to spend an unforgettable moment. With this parade the events of the fair end. More than 500 farmers display millions of flowers carried in chairs on their backs, weighing up to 70 kilos. It is a tradition that lasts from generation to generation. The silletas compose beautiful landscapes, portraits and messages with native values. B |
| Day 6 / Guatape Tour August 10 | Breakfast at hotel Pick up at the hotel, transfer to the municipality where we make our first visit to Viejo Peñol, a replica of what was the old Guatapé. Then we will do a tour of the city of Guatape walking through the plaza, where we will observe the facades of the buildings; visit the craft shops (Plazoleta de Zócalos); have a typical lunch; a boat trip and return to Medellín.
