Day 1 / San Jose |
Arrive in San José and transfer to selected to hotel. |
| Day 2 / Tortuguero // Visit to Tortuguero Village | Head twoards the Northern Caribbean Lowlands with beautiful views of the virgin forest alongside the Braulio Carillo National Park. Board a boat for a scenic 1.5hr ride to Tortuguero National Park. Lunch. Visit Tortuguero a small village best known for sea turtles conservation efforts. Overnight at Lodge. B+L+D |
| Day 3 / Tortuguero // Visit to National Park Canals | Explore secondary canals by boat and contemplate nature’s beauty up close. Canals and lagoons that cross the park offer a biological diversity. Rest of the day at leisure. B+L+D |
| Day 4 / Arenal Volcano | Transfer by boat to drive to Guapiles. Lunch. Continue driving and see the beautiful mountain views. Pass by Sarapiqui. Notice agriculture, crops of pineapple, oranges, sugar cane, yucca, etc. Arrive in La Fortuna de San Carlos in late afternoon to observe Arenal Volcano. Overnight at selected Lodge. B+L |
| Day 5 / Arenal Volcano // Tabacon hot springs | Morning at Leisure. In the afternoon 2.5hr hike some trails surrouning Arenal Volcano and visit Tabacon Hot Springs. Observe a wide variety in flora and fauna, appreciate ancient lava flows that have turned to stone. The guide will provide recommedations to discover more. After the hike transfer to Tabacon Hot Springs. Let the natural pools of different temperatures and sounds of the jungle provide you relaxation. Dinner. Overnight at selected hotel. B+D |
| Day 6 / Monteverde | misty forest with its dense vegetation, majestic trees. Hike its trails amongst varieties of plants and over 450 birds species seen in the area. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at selected Hotel in the area. B |
| Day 7 / Monteverde | n the morning tour to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve again. This forest is located at an altitude between 1200 and 1600m, giving you the chance to experience different types of ecosystems and unique wildlife. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at selected Hotel in the area. B |
| Day 8 / San José | Transfer to San Jose through mountainous range into the central valley. Overnight in selected Hotel in San José B |
