Day 1 / Santa Marta
Presentation at the airport of the city of origin to depart on a regular flight to the city of Santa Marta, upon arrival at Simon Bolivar Airport, our representative will receive you and take you to your hotel. Our guide will assist you at the hotel with the check-in procedures and will give you a detailed itinerary of all the services included in your trip.
You will also receive information about the contact details of our company, including our 24-hour emergency telephone number. Overnight in Santa Marta.
|Day 2/ Santa Marta City Tour||
Breakfast. At the agreed time, pick up at the Hotel to start our City tour. We will visit the most beautiful bay in America, we will visit Rodadero, Santa Marta, the main Cathedral, the fifth of San Pedro de Alejandrino, Gold Museum, Monument to the "Pibe" Valderrama, Monument to the Tayrona Deity, panoramic of fisher’s town Taganga and return to the Hotel
|Day 3/ Katanzama Indigenous||The Katanzama indigenous population is located in a magical place on the shores of the sea. With the indigenous community leader of the town we take a tour of the houses and community rooms, we learn about the cuisine and customs of the Arhuacos and we go to the plantations to learn about their crops and work materials. Then we sit around a tree, in a sacred space, where we have the opportunity to chat with the Mamo, spiritual leader of the community. After visiting the school briefly, we are located in front of the sea to enjoy a delicious picnic during which, those who like it, can learn how to weave the traditional backpacks. To end our experience, we enter the community plantation and plant together with indigenous people an endemic tree of the region, this will be the mark that we leave as honorary visitors.|
|Day 4 / Santa Marta - Palomino||
Transfer from Santa Marta to Palomino. Located 1 hour to Reserva Natural El Matuy. One of the most beautiful Natural Reserves in Colombia, highlighted in Lonely Planet and highly rated on TripAdvisor, this ecolodge is right on the beach and surrounded by nature. A special place to spent your holidays or organize events .Perfect settings for yoga and meditation retreats.
|Day 5 / Palomino / Tayrona's National Park||
After breakfast your tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer tour to Tyrona National Park.
The Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, as it's known in Spanish, is one of the most popular national parks in Colombia, home to animals like monkeys, dolphins and condors that live in its 37,000 acres of land and sea. Upon arrival rest of the day at leisure to explore the park on your own. Visit different paths and trekking .At the end of the day come back to Natural Reserve Matuy
|Day 6 / Palomino / Kogui Indian Workshop||
After breakfast you will have the opportunity to do a workshop with the kogui´s indigenous tribe
Live a unique experience with them doing an energetic ritual in order to clean your soul.
|Day 7 / Palomino||
